And here we go again. yet another thread started with name calling, made for no other purpose than to bait people into an argument. Whats the point this time? Is it really that hard to start a thread about an issue without resorting to insults and name calling?

FYI, these silly accusations can be made about all political parties in this country. so what exactly is the point of this thread other than to directly insult democrats?
 
Ignore baiting threads. Period. Do not go off topic with recipies. At this point, it is not an infractionable offense being an ultra right conservative or an ultra left liberal. It is infractionable to attack each other personally, troll, spam and fight. Stick to the issues.

I want to assure everyone that these threads are being discussed and watched closely. Posting suspensions and/or permanent bans are being discussed. I say this not to threaten but to help folks avoid it. OK? "Can't we all get along?" - Rodney King.
 
its not as if the GOP isn't guilty of race baiting. But as a former hardcore Dem, turned Scoop Jackson Dem, I'm getting a lil sick of the left making everything about race, like Carter calling all of Obama's opponents racists, or the part of the left who nominate people to run solely to be the first ______ president.

The racial undertones of political discourse is a valid contemporary issue of concern.

I have more important things to worry about like our eroding 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendment rights. I was talking to freak about how he agreed with what you said about getting distracted from the real issues. Then he posts this topic about racist baiting the democrats seems to do. So I was asking if he truly agrees with you or if he only agrees with you when race isn't involved. As it stands he said the real issues are gov trying to take away our rights but then he posts this topic. So if gay mortgage is a distraction. Then so is this topic he posted. He should never posted it as he considers topics like this a distraction to the real issues at hand.

So no where did I call anyone on hete a racist. So calm down before you blow a gasket.

that's fine. When i read your reply I was like wth? I literally read again what I posted thinking did I mess up? So no harm no foul. I think freak will agree with anyone to take heat off himself lol.
