desire 2.2 re-release by three

Does anyone know when 3 will re-release 2.2 for the Desire?

Did three pull the update then,I updated to 2.2 a couple of weeks ago with three and it seems great to me,have they found a problem with the software.

It did indeed. I only got my desire last week so it had been and gone. I'm rather hoping it'll come back soon.

I have a desire with 3 and got fed up waiting over 2 months for them to release Froyo, so I debranded using this guide and it worked for me.

Usual warning though, if you need to send your phone back to 3, you will need a 3 rom re-installing. Only debrand if your confident about it.

Thanks, but as I'm mostly useless I'd better just wait. It's still an excellent phone so I can't complain too much.....yet.

You could ring them and ask what's happened to the update all the other handsets got,at the very least you might get some info on it.

Got it today, can confirm it is glitch free as far as i can tell. market and everything works so that's one up from the first release

How did you manage to get it eviled?. I got two phones from three the other day, i used mine straight away, have not been prompted for update. Still on 2.1. My wife used hers and within fifteen minutes was prompted to update to 2.2.5.
