Desire and iPhone headphones?

Hi,

As much as I love my Desire, I hate the crap headset that comes with it.

Is it possible to use iPhone/iPod headset with a mic on the Desire. And not just to listen but also to talk.

Anyone know?

I can't speak for all headphones but I bought these,

And can confirm the mic works,along with the controls.

Not bad,but tbh I've switched back to my senns cx300 ii.Prefer the sound from them,plus the Radiopaqs kept falling out my ears.

Only thing you need to do to use the music controls is use a different music player app! I use player pro which is awesome but it cost about

Any headset that works with an iPhone will work with a Desire (mic and answer button at least.) Stuff like volume controls may not as it depends on the app the controls are trying to communicate with. Personally, I want a pair of these babies!
