DESIRE for comic reading?

unless you've got hold of vectored artwork (if you don't know, don't worry) then I would say still too small. If you have comics as PDFs then the artwork is not resized properly and the text is FUBARed.
 
Well I use my DHD for reading comics using the Droid Comic Viewer and all my CBR's and CBZ's work fine on it.

I can zoom in if the pages are too big and using it in landscape mode normally means that I never need to zoom in (unless it's a double-page spread). The text can be a bit small, but it is still perfectly readable in most cases.

I've never tried reading PDF comics in the DHD and I don't have any so can't say what they are like but CBR's and CBZ's are generally fine.
