Help Desire HD & 3 data only SIM

Hi, I have a Desire HD that is unlocked. I currently use a T-Mobile voice and data package Sim with it.
I want to go data only on the desire, I'll use another phone for voice calls & the Desire for Internet, email etc.

I have bought a Three.co.uk Sim that has a 1 gig 30 day data allowance.
My question is will this work as I think it will?

As long as the other phone is unlocked or T-Mobile compatible, then yes, it will work.

I was curious about that too. I did something similar took my phone out with Virgin Mobile but they wouldn't add extra data and I was going over all the time. So I gave my wife the Virgin contract sim and bought the X10 for her. I now have a rolling 1 month all you can eat data sim with 3 for everything on my Desire HD.

If your after more data might be worth calling T-Mobile as they might be more accommodating in adding more data if thats what you need.

Or you might be like me with a dumb phone with a number that work have to get in touch with me and my Desire for friends and family.
