Help Desire Hd browser.. cache size

Is there any way to increase the cache to bigger than 6 mb (won't let you slide it past 6mb) without installing aftermarket browser (which might not even have a bigger cache)? It's too small, driving me mad, think my old n95 had 5mb, amazed this doesn't have more, this thing crashes when i open big pages

You can't change this. Could you uncheck the mobile view though? Does that make a difference?

What about an alternative browser?

Yeh I guess ill have to look at one, shame because this one is perfect otherwise, anyone know a decent aftermarket onr with a much bigger cache

Dolphin is good. I've never used it, but you could try Firefox mobile.

Opera Mini is another popular one.

I have been using Dolphin almost since day 1 of receiving my Desire HD and have suffered no problems at all with cache size. Free, so you should give it a try, if not for you, just delete.
