Root Desire HD Rom guide

Ok I need a little help here. I need a guide and rom for the desire HD to put on my desire. I have an Orange branded desire the I made a gold card with and put on a stock HTC ROM. I now want to try the Desire HD rom on my Desire but don't know what ROM to use and how to format the memory card for apps2sd. Any help would be appreciated as i've been looking through the forum for over an hour and cant find any info on how to do this!
 
Please go read the guides and search the forum a little as it's all been answered already. You might also wanna go over to XDA as there's more information there
