desire phone backup...

Hi I had a desire, but i have got a new one from my network as the new one is unlocked, is there anyway to bckup my phone settings so i can put it on the new desire? E.g through pc or phone . And secondly can I d same with my apps? Thank-you all help much appreciated and i am new here and this forum rocks deffo the place to be. Azz

I use MyBackup from the Market, you have to pay for it but for a couple of quid I don't mind.

Can't remember if it backs up your settings though but it does apps and data.

Agreed I have just backed up and restored to.my.new desire all my settings.and apps easy as that. What.an excellent app . A must have.
