Help Desire S Re-sending SMS Meassages

Have just got a new Desire S - transferred my Txt Messages from a Blackberry & now the stupid HTC has re-sent ALL of my old Messages again!

Having to apologise to all of my contacts!

Anyone know of a cure?

UPDATE:-

Have just had a very dis-appointing response from HTC, on this issue!

It is clear that they are fully aware of the problem, but have given NO indication that they intend dealing with it!

They just simply apologised only!
