Help Desire Stuck on Boot Menu

Hi I was charging my Desire and when I unpugged the charger and turned it on my phone went to the boot menu with the below message:

Bravo PVT4 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
MICROP-051d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-5.11.05. 27
AUG 10 2010 17:52

I can not use the volume buttons to exit this page as nothing seems to move when I press the volume up or down buttons. Has anyone any ideas what the probem coud be and how to fix it?

When I remove the battery and put it back in, it goes straight to the same menu and still doesnt move using the volume buttons.
 
Does it turn itself on to that screen or is it when you press power?

If its when you press power, sounds like your volume down button may be stuck or broken or something.
 
Well to get to Hboot from off you hold down volume down and press power.

Its as if you're pressing power and the volume button is stuck down. Contact HTC.
 
Having the exact same problem today - have you any idea what caused it jtoal85? And is it being repaired? It's very mysterious but the two water damage stickers I can see indicate no damage. Hoping it's covered, only had it a few months and experiencing withdrawal symptoms already!
