Help Desire turns itself ON!

Anyone else had problems with this? I expect a phone to turn itself OFF from time to time, but I've never known one to turn itself ON! Usually I don't turn my phone off but last week I was in hospital so obviously you have to turn it off there. Twice in an hour it managed to turn itself back on! I know it wasn't from the on button being accidentally pressed so what's happening there? Does the Desire want to live?

That happened to me once. I was about to watch a movie, and I turned my phone off. About an hour or two after the movie was over, I heard the HTC boot sound. The phone was on a bookshelf, so nothing could have pressed the power button. Wierd stuff, them god damn androids...

I had the same thing happen to me not long after I got it. I turn mine off every night before bed, but one morning I noticed it was already on. I assumed I'd not turned it off the night before, but according to the battery it had been awake for about 2 hours...so must've turned itself on at about 5am. Strange.
