My wife has an HTC Desire with US Cellular. She is up for a new phone and will get another HTC. Here is my question: Will the old Droid be dead in the water at that point or can I use it for some apps on a wifi network? I would like to use it for some of the GPS apps like RunKeeper. Will anything like this work once it is off of the US Cellular account?
