Help Desktop and gps dock wont work

A few weeks ago I realized when i plugged my Bionic into my desktop dock it no longer turned into alarmclock mode and this weekend I went on a trip and when i plugged the phone into the gps dock it didnt go into car mode. Is there a setting I accidently triggered that turned these off? I couldnt find anything.

Are you on the stock rom, rooted, or custom rom? If rooted, have you frozen or deleted any apps? The custom ICS roms don't necessarily support all the dock functions yet.

i am on 5.9.902.xt875.verizon.en.us rooted
no elements of ICS installed, and nothing is frozen. Actually when i looked at my running applications they were running, but i cant access their settings or anything
