Root Dev Needed... 2.1 Running on the Behold 2

I agree 100% they could care less but it would be throwing it in the face samsuck which I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love that opportunity!!!!

They care about the customer, which is why they are buying the unsold phones back from T-Mobile. We're not Samsung's customers, even though we have Samsung handsets. We're T-Mobile customers, and they don't give a toss about us. They could have pressured Samsung for an offical 2.0+ release, but why should they bother? Most people are just going to buy a Vibrant, and few will leave T-Mobile due to the talk/text/data plans being the cheapest amongst the big four carriers.
 
That is awesome! Keep it up, thanks for putting in what little extra time you have into developing for the Behold II! CM 5 meaning cyanogen mod?
 
Agreed that is great!!! Good luck on the sound i know that has been one main issue with it! Anyway thanks alot for the extra time!!!

ur doing a good thing bh_man i respect you for working so hard...................i cant believe no other developer is jumping on this project for 2.1 and the behold 2 has more ram than the g1 and my touch 3g it makes no sense!!!

its cuz BH_MAN has no source for 2.X for BH2 and sammy wont release source needed to complete
 
sammy just released what they needed to based on androids regulations not their full source code,from what I understand
 
Whattup BH_MAN. Just wanted to know if psfreedom can be ported to behold 2. And how did u compile kernels for behold. Can i have the modified source code so i can figure this psfreedom thing out. Sorry for getting off topic.
 
First of all, thats not the only thing psfreedom is used for. Homebrew and unlocking your PS3 to use its full power while using otheros is not a crime. psfreedom is not just used for STEALING. They actually have a non-backup version, if that makes anybody like Johnholmes happy. I have 100+ games. I have a job Johnholmes. Go and report me to the Sheriff's office.Your hilarious....Do you know that? Seriously funny. Anyway, need help on making psfreedom module for behold 2.

polomonolo0, unless I'm very much mistaken you've already got a topic about this. posting here isn't going to do you much good. if you wanted to get hold of BH_MAN or any member individually, that's why we have PRIVATE messages. otherwise, don't get too impatient at the lack of enthusiasm over this phone, or at forums about it. if BH_MAN is successful in his endeavors for this topic, it will give the phone new life and you may have your answer later, so I'd lay off bugging him.

Hey, if your reading this Eugene, please discontinue reading these posts as they clearly have become a distraction for you from diligently working on this program for all of us...well...er...less qualified individuals. Thanks you for everything that you've done thus far with the ROMS...my wife and I are both using 2 of your custom ROMS, and good luck as you pound out the last few issues with 2.1.

I'm pretty much have no idea how to do source, but does this mean the 2.1 is going to include part of htc source/htc sense?
 
Well i got to give credit where credit is due!!! To even attempt this and to get as far as you have is in my eyes a feat in itself!!!
 
BH MAN you are our only hope. I got this phone right after i switched from verizon so obviously if i wanted a new phone I'd have to pay $500 for something like the galaxy s. Also, just a quick question, since you already have 2.1 running on the bh2, how does it feel? Is it quick and no lag? Cuz im running ur 1.6 and it feels a little slow at times, was just wondering how it felt compared to 1.6... Please dont give up on us BH MAN, we all really appreciate your work!
