Need to get the bugs worked out first. build a solid kernel w/ patches & then move on with 2.1/2.2 building...

I don't think people realize how much time is involved patching kernel.. it's not an automated process

Looks like the corruption was due to my error on the new recovery / kernel. I made a mistake in the mount options. But we still need to get jfs & ext4 supported...


btw, just got home & working on the kernel.

calm down and let the man work, dude, he's going as fast as he can. he already said he's pretty damn sure we'll have 2.1, so we just need to be patient. we've waited this long, after all, and samsung never delivered, so Eugene is doing us a pretty big favor by working on a phone that he doesn't even use anymore.

don't get me wrong, I'm excited too, but lets give him some room to do his thing.
