Developer Options on S3

Read in this forum somewhere that if developer options was turned on and Window Animation scale was reduced to 0.5, along with Animator duration scale, then phone would be faster. Is this right, and if so, how far could you go down to make it faster without it self destructing??
 
You can take it down to 0.0 or effectively. Off.
I don't have mine running solely for the slightly extra speed between launching apps or scrolling pages
 
It doesnt actually make the phone faster but windows and transitions will open faster at the expense of looking pretty. I have mine at 1 because i like animations. Try increasing it and youll get an idea of exactly what it does. Its completely harmless to change it :thumbup:
