development - adb/eclipse not showing flytouch

Hello

I recently bought a flytouch3 mainly for development purposes.
Since I could not find the "enable usb debugging" switch in the menus, I installed a new Android 2.2 (http://androidforums.com/flytouch-3...46-latest-flytouch-3-modded-roms-updated.html) which works perfectly.
I then proceeded to enable usb debugging, however the device doesn't show up in the list of active devices, neither in eclipse nor using adb from command line (my htc hero phone on the other hand works perfectly on this).

Any hint?
