So I updated to 2.2 on my Vibrant but now any computer i plug my phone into I get usb device not recognized... anyone else have this issue?

Try a different usb port and cable if you can first. I saw someone have a similar problem with the Epic. The phone wouldn't connect with a pc after the OTA even though it had no problem before. The resolution there was to hard reset the phone. That will require restoring all your apps and configurations. Good luck!
