So, in the beginning, all i needed to root my phone for was extra space cause the SD card wasn't registering or something or other. Well that snowballed into this whole big conundrum that I was not nearly prepared for.
Full disclosure, I'm a noob. I have no idea what I'm doing. I don't know what flashing, roms, or kernels are. It's an absolute miracle I made it this far.
So one day (the phone is rooted at this point mind you), the phone says there is a system update available. Me in all my button pushing glory, pushed the install now button.
My phone rebooted (or tried to at least).
It got stuck on the LG screen with a message that says "Device Unlock! So Boot Successful!!"
It then takes me to ClockworkMod Recovery which absolutely just freaks me the fiddlesticks out. I just start mashing buttons like crazy.
For those that aren't familiar (although I'm sure most are more experienced than I), here are all the options of ClockworkMod Recovery (that then lead into even MORE options. If you're curious just ask.)
These are the main ones.
Reboot system now
install zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup and restore
mounts and storage
advanced
I just want to get out of ClockworkMod Recovery at this point.
:dalek: oh my gosh there's a dalek emoticon that's amazing
but back on track
I really am in waaaay above my head. I just need to get out. Or any other solution to whatever the problem is? I kind of just need my phone to start.
