I haven't tried rooting or unlocking or anything. I downloaded the firmware update and now the device won't boot past the ASUS/Nvidia Tegra screen. I try to do a cold boot running RCK or Android. RCK gets me the dead android with a red triangle and exclamation mark, Android just gets me stuck on the boot select screen with 4 icons. I have a LOT of important data on here (that of course I haven't backed up) so doing a full wipe is not really an option....help please!

If you're still stock, send it to Asus.
Here is a thread from XDA that describes exactly what happened to you and a way to fix it. If I were you I would read this thread and I would also read up on it some more over at XDA. They have a huge section on the TF300T.
