In regards to WiFi, if you are having a problem email me your groupon voucher (not just the voucher code), paypal confirmation of delivery payment (not just the transaction ID), address and phone number and I will sort out a replacement for you.
 
Hi just want to say that I got one of these faulty tablets with the same probs as everyone else.I trawled the net trying to find a solution I reinstaled the play store on more than one occasion and different versions too but no sucess.

DGM the answers that you've posted such as to check wifi etc are ridiculous its a definate fault with the firmware you've put onthese tablets

luckily though I've found a temp solution and that is to download an alternative market pm me for the link if you want it as it wont letme post it here
*It works fine and let's u install all the apps you want the first ones I did where firefox and adobe and now my tablets ok I hope that dgm will release a fix for this but I won't be holding my breath and I'm going to keep trying to fix it myself if I do I'll post a reply here I hope this helps:)

We have found a fix but we need to send it out to you in micro SD card, for us to do this I need you to email me the following documents (do not send just codes we need the actual documents): your groupon voucher, your paypal confirmation of the delivery charge, along with your address and phone number.

I must again stress do not just send me voucher codes I need the entire voucher and paypal delivery confirmation otherwise it will delay you receiving your upgrade considerably.

Hi i have the same problem as all the other users. Can u please attach the fix to this thread as not all of us are in a position of being able to send voucher code etc. if theres a fix for this problem that is on the t909 you are obliged to release it. I have my own sd card and can put the fix on and save the hassle of you having to send out hundreds of sd cards with said files on. preferably as quick as you can as this tablet like so many others have said is useless without being able to put apps on ff the market

having spoken to and got nowhere regarding posting the fix on here from DGM im having to send of proof of purchase etc to get it. if anyone gets theirs before me could they upload the files for those needing the fix sooner rather than later. as soon as i get mine im going to make it readily available for everyone as i dont see why they would want to withold a fix until uve proved youve bought it ?!??!?

Exact same here. Having to send off proff of purchase etc etc. If a fix avail why not make it avail? Probably some company policy. Either way it does not vote well for DGM's product support.

Hi, i've also got the T-909 which i'm getting on ok with but can anyone help with the camera as i am unable to switch between front and rear view and to be truthful i dont really want to take a photo of myself>> any help appreciated

There is no rear view camera that is why you cannot switch between front view and rear view.

Hi, Thanks for responding. Page 15 of the user manual states you can tap the camera icon to switch between front and rear cameras to take pictures??? why would you have a camera if you couldnt take pictures???

I have not received it as im finding it hard to fill in the rma as none of the details are on my invoice they require grrrrrrrrr
 
Having won this in a raffle and going back and forth regarding a refund via the person who ordered it, I was informed it would be collected from me arranged by DGM. I've had it packaged up here for over a week, with no indication on when I may expect a courier (I do go to work!) I already had to pay
 
This company is a joke. I've had a refund for the cost of the tablet but now trying to get two lots of postage refunded. Now they're ignoring me.

update ..Ok i think i got this


I used HDD Raw Copy Tool which is free from HDDguru website.
Part of this app is it allows the user to clone an sdcard where the drag and dropping of files is not available as in this case.

1. download the above app and install
2. download the fix Fix T-909.rar | Game Front
3. Open Hdd Raw copy tool and click Fle to use and explore to the downloaded fix (unzip downloaded file first)
4. A 1GB formatted microsdcard must be used
5. Select microsd card as destination
6 . select start
7 . Wait til finished

These next instructions are written on the card that came with the sdcard

1.turn off the tablet
2.insert the tf card
3 turn on the tablet
4.upgrade will start automatically
5.wait for upgrade to complete
6. once upgrade is complete ,it will auto turn off
7.remove tf card
8. turn on tablet

Note.you may have to repeat this process if you have firmware problems in the future
Caution
this upgrade may erase all your database in the tablet.

i cant test this as my tablet is now fixed but it should be no probs as all were doing here is cloning the sdcard with a fix thats covers All t-909 s

I HAVE SET IT UP AS A TORRENT pm me for torrent file

I have tried to contact meer.sheh@digimate.com directly and through this forum, I received 1 email back advising that the file I sent with the documents could not be opened, resent this straight away and have heard nothing back. DGM are an absolute joke, tempted to send the item back for a refund and pay twice as much for another tablet.

Come on DGM, get your act together.
 
A few nags with the tablet.... the volume output is very very low... and it's on max vol...
Also the display ain't that great.... I have an ipad 1 and the display is still 10 times better than this one,
The viewing angle is very odd and the resolution is not that good too, compared to my ipad 1.
However video playback is good, no hassle with converting first... it plays almost everything..
How is battery life ??? With only browsing here and about one hour and a half of use the battery level is already down to 38% and brightness is set at half.. is this normal ???
 
I'd like to listen to the radio and watching iplayer and I can't. After spending a lot of time going around trying to fix the problem I reached a page saying that google play does not support this tablet. This tablet is not on the list of supported androids. That's that. The page suggested that I contact the manufacturer. Did anyone else got that?

In regards to coopigeon's post if you do go ahead with this and something goes wrong DGM will not take any responsibility for the damage.

If you cannot watch videos can you go to the Google Play Store and download the flash player once you have done this there should be no problems regarding videos or radio.

Allan I believe I have dealt with your request via my email response.

If you have any problems the TF card fix will solve them provided they are to do with Google Play, WiFi and any other bugs that my be present in the tablet.

Any reason why you can't put the fix on your website/online somewhere? It's obvious it's a relatively common issue.

From a PR/customer satisfaction perspective, it would probably be a good idea to have a fix readily available for everyone that's experiencing the issue, rather than making already frustrated users jump through hoops for a fix. What about pushing it out as an OTA Update?

Just an outsiders suggestion. :)

I asked them the same question but on inspection on the tf card the files are not visible its like in an image form that just shows as a used space of 473mb so i can see how they might think this is not possible ,,, however there are ways and means of creating the tf card like i did,

I understand also the implications of doing what i did regarding warranties and it is entirely up to the user i suppose but for me the process of getting the card from DGM was a right chew as im up the other end of the country to where all the paperwork was for the RMA forms.

It is however certain if this had a toshiba, hp, sony or any other tag a downloadable fix or over the air update would be available instantly..perhaps its the price you we pay for swimming with the little fish .

Have now been told that I will have the fix tomorrow, lets wait and see.
I bought a DGM TV for my mum and have been really impressed with it but I have to say that I will certainly think twice before buying anything else from this company. This should not have taken so long to resolve and been so painful for so many customers. :mad:
 
I was given this tablet as a gift for my Daughter but it seems I too have a dud! Unfortunately the thing was purchased from Groupon by somebody I no longer have any contact with so cannot provide voucher or proof of postage.

Does this mean I may as well bin it as I can't see this company posting me any fixit cards to resolve the damn thing!..... If anybody has received said 'fix' do they know of any way I could get hold of it? Please help a very disappointed little lady!!
