Dhd atk post mortem day 4

A murder took place in my HTC DHD 4 days ago. Without mercy the ATK was brutally and without mercy, fingered to death...and so far so good!

Upon uninstalling ATK i've been experiencing....

-longer battery life : now at about a full 24 hours before 20% remaining.

-faster response times

-less delays when checking mail, visiting the market or surfing.

-faster texting.

-more responsive accelerometer.

-no force closing / force shutdowns by me or by itself.

BUT...will it last? I understand these fones are still really new and hence we should expect new things.

-- there is the occasional drag.

Not sure if i did it right but after UNINSTALLING, i restarted my DHD, looked for the ATK and it wasn't in the RUNNING APPS.

Also my USB Debugging is CLICKED.

THANKS TO ALL WHO GAVE ME SOME ADVICE!

Thought i'd just share this info if it will be useful.

atk post mortem day 5:

--strange random "vibrations"...freaky. Anybody getting these vibrations?


ATK POST MORTEM DAY 9:
-the vibrations gradually decreased and as of now...nada.

-battery life span more or less the same w/c is good (contextual of course to average use)

- hardly any drag /lag.

- ONE NEW THING: Occasional unresponsiveness when tapping the Phone. But not too big an issue...yet.

Got a virus alert after surfing, syncing my contacts (was too lazy to sync before, har!)
Got "X's" from SETTINGS and CONTENT and just followed the instructions.

One of the solutions presented was : UNCLICK USB DEBUGGING--so i did.

haven't connected it to any PC, just transferred ebooks via blutooth from my macbook, downloaded a few apps.

No vibrations still. No decrease in batt life.

Ran another scan, and later the anti-virus scan popped up auto in on of my panels.

so far, so good.

ATK is the work of satan. It's a shame that blatantly bullshit apps like this are even allowed in the marketplace.
