Just lately my DHD has developed this syndrome where the display doesn't turn-off after the set time, it just goes dim. It doesn't seem to matter what the screen time-out period is set to.
This is causing battery charge life to shorten noticeably as unless I put the screen to sleep manually it's always on, even if it is dimmed.
It's probably something simple (I hope) but I can't seem to find it.
