Root DHD red triangle exclamation and cant parsing PD98IMG.zip

well ihave do all the above put rom on sd card bootloader install rom.rom installs then i got to fastboot

i cant get the boot.img file to write .

i have extracted the boot.img from the revo .zip and placed it to the root off c

Did you look at the guide I linked? the boot image must be in the folder with adb and fastboot. Not on the root of c
 
right id forgot to cd c:\

and have rebooted its sat on the htc screen now
 
scotty : i have question to ask about my network mode ... when i switch to WCDMA only , it only show there is no coverage and after that , in a few second it automatically change back to GSM/WCDMA auto .... however , when i change to GSM only ... it does not change back to GSM/WCDMA auto ... it seem like i can't switch to WCDMA only ... morever , i also have tried compared with my friend which also DHD user .. when both of us switch our DHD to WCDMA only .. look like my DHD only change back to GSM/WCDMA auto just in a few second , and my friend DHD look like it maintain with WCDMA only and does not change back to GSM/WCDMA auto ... do you have any idea ?

yup! you are good to go. if you choose to remain s on,youll just need to manually install the boot image every time that you flash a new rom,or restore an old backup.

IMO its worth your efforts to become s off.

my only idea is if you and your friends devices are on different networks,that may be sending out different signals. if your both on the same network,i dont really know about this one :o

we already used the same network already :( ... nevermind if u dunno coz u already help me too much , i just wondering if u might know something about this , like using some stuff like open cmd , and download some file , and make cmd read my command , it awesome when cmd work fine to my DHD :) ...
 
im very happy thanks for all youre help.s-off how do i achcive this on my DHD.would this make the device sim free,ie anynetwork>?

lol,i definately have not helped too much. i am just glad we got you sorted(mostly)! sorry i dont have more info on the gsm/wcdma question :o

the process will make the device sim-unlocked,and useable on any network :)
