Root DHD Root Problem please help

Sorry about the delay... I finished work and have only just got home!

I didn't realise that there was a version 8.3... it must be brand new... try heading to Goo.im Downloads - Browsing IceCold and downloading 8.2 (which is what I am currently running)

Just had a bit of a look at the link you posted... which of the files did you download? You'd need the one that is 150MB just gonna give that one a go on my phone now and will let you know how I get on

I have 8.3 installed now on my system all working ok so far fingers crossed

Let us know what you think of it... it is Vanilla Android (like what you would expect to see on the Nexus range of phones) and is quite different to HTC's Sense overlay (UI) - I prefer it myself, but it's not for everyone!

It seems ok so far... had a couple of hickups (with labels not showing properly) last night... a reboot sorted them. Gonna give it the weekend to see what it's like!

Not noticed it since the reboot, but the battery life doesn't seem as good as on the last version... as I said, gonna give it the weekend to see what the score is!
