Help dhd screen not responsive

I deleted some of the running apps in my desire hd, after that the touchscreen seems to be erratic.It's not as responsive as before. What can I do to fix this issue?:

What exactly did you delete and how did you delete them?

I wouldn't have thought one would cause the other, unless your phone was rooted.

I don't know what I exactly killed.But I am dead sure my phone is not rooted. As you suggest one thing does not lead to the other. Hope it works. Thanks buddy.
