Ok, so I've had some problems with my phone screen turning on by itself and speaker phone coming on etc. A few weeks ago, an automatic update came on so I assumed it was legit and installed it.

Since then I've noticed a few things different but no major problem. One day though, suddenly my phone was all in Arabic. I installed a keyboard app and got rid of it back to English.

So today, I decided I'd had enough of the auto screen and speaker phone and did the factory reset which I was recommended to do.

Now my phone is COMPLETELY in Arabic! When it boots up for the first time, it asks for language, but only options are either Arabic, or English versions of Middle Eastern countries ie- English (Lebanon), English (Bahrain), English (Jordan) etc.

Is there a way to completely re-install Android at all?

holy rusted metal batman!!! crikey, thats pretty bad...hmmm...how about just get it swapped with your carrier/provider if all else fails?

Well problem is (which may or may not be the reason it's doing it) is that I bought it from overseas before it was released in Australia. But it was fine when I first got it... Had it for a few months now and all of a sudden it's going crazy.

Managed to fix up most of the language issues, but the screen still comes on randomly even with no apps installed and speaker phone still comes on with calls :(

The OS will have a region where it was sold/intended for. When the phone gets an update, it gets the update for that region, hence Arabic.

You won't get an Australian update just because you're in Australia.

I assume you have no warranty as you bought it overseas... in which case root it.
That might iron out your screen & speaker problems too.
