My DHD was working fine until an update recently, now the phone is forever 'Obtaining IP Address' then disconnecting and searching again yet it states my WiFi signal is excellent.
This is driving me nuts, does anyone definately know a fix or does anyone know how to uninstall the last update, I believe it might have been Froyo 2.2 but not to certain.
This same problem is happening at my Gf's house where before the update I could get WiFi signal. Free WiFi sites (like McDonalds) are working fine.
Help Please as HTC have blamed Orange and Orange just said try and uninstall the last update but couldn't tell me how and I'm sick of trying to speak to anyone at Orange who is the slightest bit interested.
