hi guys great forum, loving my DHD my issue is with the wifi outdoors. i can connect to my home wifi no problem but when i venture into the public where there are free wifi spots on open networks i cannot connect. the DHD will scan for wifi and will find several open and locked wifi signals but i still can't connect to the open ones. i've checked my settings and i am at a loss.
a friend a has a HTC HD2 and he enabled his wifi on the phone to see if i could connect to his device but on this occassion it just remained scanning and did not find hs phone. this was at work however where i do not get any mobile or internet signal on my phone (t-mobile) but i should still be able to connect over wifi regardless right?
any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
