Diablo 3

I'm level 49 now and finishing up Act 3 on Nightmare. I've been doing it solo so that I could get more XP, but it just takes sooooooo long to clear through all the trash. I hate leaving a map that hasn't been 100% discovered. Found some great high DPS weapons lately, so I have been putting them to GREAT use.
 
New to the franchise, and haven't had a lot of time to play so far, but I am LOVING it! This is the kind of game that makes me long for more free time!

What's everyone's battle tags? As I said, I'm not too far into the game yet, but I'd love to start building our friends lists and getting some co-op games going!

Lmfao, tell me about it. All my buddies have moved onto Inferno, so I'm stuck playing on my own. My play time is going to take a massive cutback starting today, so it's going to be a while before I even hit 60. I'm about halfway through 52 on (beginning) A1 of Hell.
 
I wouldn't worry too much about lack of playtime. Here's the new Diablo3:

Act1: Fight the maintenance server boss to login to Diablo
Act2: Fight the ability to patch game boss endless loop
Act3: Fight the euEN usEN boss
Act4: Fight the stuck at login screen retrieving your hero boss

I have yet to have any of the issues you just described. In fact, I had my very first lag stutter last night while playing, but it lasted all of like 2 seconds and that was that. I really have zero issues while playing D3.

Blizz must really not like you folks lol.

It wouldn't let me log in for quite a while tonight, but I was able to after I left to do something else for a couple of hours.

Lol, I'm convinced that Blizzard has a grudge against some of you. I logged on at about 9 PM last night w/o any issues.

I hate that it puts you in general chat. Now I have to deal with all those clowns trying to sell fake gold and child porn, but I did meet a cool guy who gave me a bunch of free items.
 
Yeah, I immediately leave general chat. Ugh.

Also really my issues haven't been that bad, and having played wow for years (recently quit for good) I am used to patch day bugs and inconveniences.
 
Hmm, I've never been in general chat, and I don't get automatically placed in it either.

Also, while I don't think I've had as much trouble with lag as NoNameFace, I usually have a good bit of stutter when I first log in. It also tends to slow down when I run into my first group of monsters (I've died from this a few times). However, I usually attribute this to trying to run a very heavy-graphics game on a laptop.

EDIT: Ahh, I see, the new patch automatically puts you in general chat. That's annoying.
 
I don't know, I typically get that slow down on the first mob too and I always put it down to lag rather than my PC not keeping up.

Finally beat Normal! The cherry on top was the final boss dropping a rare Monk staff that doubled my damage output! :D 499.93 DPS in the early phase of Act I Nightmare. Not bad.

If anyone cares, here's my build/layout:

Granted, I'm much much further along, but my DPS is nearly 7K. I believe it's 6975.06. At least that is what it was the last time I checked, which was last night.

Wow! Are you a Monk as well? Did you get your weapon from the AH or in-game?
