Root Dialer and Lockscreen

Are the lockscreen and dialer tied together somehow? I changed my lockscreen and noticed my dialer is now completely different than what came with my ROM.

I actually flashed a clear lockscreen I had used for Myn's.

yeah that probably did it. not sure why. make a nandroid. then just wipe dalvik and cache and flash mikfroyo over. you still keep all your apps and what not. if this causes you any issues you can then restore your nandroid.

after all that you can flash mikfroyo's clear lockscreen from the second post of the mikfroyo thread.

generally things that are made for specific rom should be used only with that rom. they may work on other roms, but may have some unexpected outcomes.

in a way it is. but you're theming, so a theme may end up changing things you don't want if they were not specific to that rom.

any sense theme will load on mikfroyo, but you get where i'm going yeah?

also the mikfroyo rom is optimized so best performamce will be seen with stuff made with mikfroyo in mind.
