Help Dialer Auto-Screen Off

Is there a setting anywhere to shut this off or edit it? Sometimes when its up to my ear it won't always go off, so my chin will bump the End Call button, other times if I pull it away the screen won't come back on. It's really annoying.

I tried looking in the market for applications that just completely replace the standard HTC Incredible dialer, but I didn't really come up with anything.

Any suggestions?
