Help Dialer defaults to speaker

About half the times that I answer a call or make a phone call, I find that my phone is automatically in speakerphone mode. Any idea what might be causing this? Am I just hitting it with my face half the time? It seemed to start happening when I downloaded ExDialer, but I've since deleted it, and it still happens.

Have you been using Voxer or something similar in speaker mode?

The phone could be remembering the mode from another application that defaults to speaker.

No. No Voxer. I do use Llama, which has some location/time/condition based settings (like Tasker, but more lite). Odd thing is is that the speaker issue only happens about half the time.
