Root Dialer Errors

Hi All,

Went to place a call, and I'm receiving the error message:

" The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Now here's the funny part...I can receive calls, send and receive texts, and do everything else I normally do.

Tried the following: Reboot, Power off, Pulled the battery.


I have not had this issue before, and have not had any issues since rooting to Backside back in March.

Any ideas?

Never seen that error before but did a search on Google and came up with quite a few threads. If you have Facebook app some suggest logging out of it, going to Settings > accounts & Sync and turning off Facebook contacts sync. This seemed to fix it for a bunch of people. Others have reported having to do a factory reset in recovery to fix it and others have had to wipe phone and reinstall rom. I'd suggest googling the error and reading some of the threads if you want a bit more information.

Yeah I already Googled and read through these before I posted here. None of their solutions worked, so I guess I'll be wiping and reinstalling tonight.
