Reason:
Other apps interact with dialer creating a bothersome lag.
Sample culprits:
Call Blocker 2010.11.29
Call Blocker Elite 2.7.7
CallFilter Pro 1.1.3
Extreme Call Blocker Droid 22.8
SPC 1.46 (Super Private Conversation)
Google voice (no personal experience with this - reporting what others have posted)
Solution:
If you require one of these apps on a daily basis, the bad (lag) comes with the good (app benefits).
If you don't use one of the above apps and it's installed, whether you like it or not it will interact with the dialer and create a lag. Two choices:
1. Uninstall the app.
2. Freeze the app using Titanium Backup PRO. App remains installed, but is frozen and can't interact with the dialer. Need the app down the road? Thaw it.
