Dialer One Default?

Just wondering if anyone knows how to set the Dialer One app as the default dialer? I have tried everything .thanks.

i think you have to have root. cuz what you would do is go into settings>applications>manage applications. find the built in dialer, tap it, and find default and press "clear defaullts. but its grayed out for me. so im assuming it takes root access

btw, the only way i found to use it all the time(easily) is create an icon for it on the dock bar in launcher pro

Thanks a lot. Thats about what I figured.don't really want to chance the root thing.

rooting isn't hard to all that dangerous anymore. There's a script that runs in a cmd shell that does it for you with the click of a button. If you want it, I can give you a link(I didn't make it, nor am I taking credit for it)

i tried the script one. still didnt work for me. but its better than all the timing of pulling and pushing the card in and out
