Help Dialer question

On my Eris, I could start typing in a contact's name or number and it would automatically pull them up. Like for Elizabeth, I could type e, l and it would pull up Elizabeth. Is there a setting I'm missing on the X to do that? I turned on 'assisted dialing', but didn't notice any change.

That is called Smart Dialing and the Droid X does not have it. However you can use the spiffy voice dial app which is probably just as fast.
