Help Dialer Storage Clear Data grayed out

[LaurieKBad]

I am getting a low data warning and would like to clear the data from my dialer storage which is at 33.29MB. The key is grayed out. I have been trying to delete my text messages manually but the messager ap keeps crashing. I've pulled the battery, deleted other unused aps, and cleared data from other aps to try to get enough memory to make the messager work correctly so i can delete. any help would be appreciated.

Go into your manage apps screen... Sort the apps by size (I believe pressing the menu button will bring up the option) clear the data for those apps, starting at the top. I don't think you can clear dialer storage anymore.
