I tried this also and it does not seem to work. I"m able to get to the part to enable hidden menu. But when I type in *#28346# nothing happens. The numbers go away but no menus. Did I miss a step?

I'm forced to revisit this problem!
After first discovering this forum thread quite some time ago, I was able to follow the simple instructions for getting into the hidden menus and disabling the dreaded full battery notification. However, since the latest Android system update (Aug/Sep 12?), this function no longer works....I've started getting the notification again (in the middle of the night while it's sitting on the dock right in my face, of course), and when I try to use the dialer code to disable it now, the code disappears from the dialer screen as soon as I finish entering it, but it doesn't give me the screen where I can "enable/disable" the feature.
Is there a NEW string code that will allow me to get back to that option?
I'm a newly registered user in this forum, and I'm certainly NOT an expert when it comes to dealing with anything like this on my phone. I'm hoping there's a fix that was as simple as the first process above!
