Dialling from Excel spreadsheet

Any ideas about how to copy and paste a telephone number from an Excel spreadsheet to the phone please? I've managed to get to the copy stage but can't find a way to paste it to the phone app. My phone is HTC Desire HD.

Paste the phone number in the Search. From a html sheet you should able to dial the phone number directly :)
