Help Dialling without user input

My friend's Wildfire S has strange issue. He place phone on table and sometimes (absolutely randomly) it dials someone without any of his input.
Anyone else had such issue? What can be solution?

Couple things I can think off that your friend could try:
- Different charger (charger gone bad).
- Factory data reset the phone
