Help Dictionary messed up

Hi,

I've been using the phone for months with no problems in this area but I have just tried sending an SMS on my Desire HD - I use the Handcent application - and there seems to be an issue with the dictionary.

Almost every word that I typed was not in the dictionary. For example, I would type 'the' and the suggestion was 'three-dimensional', typing 'game' would give 'gan

Have you changed the chosen language? Is there anything weird in your custom dictionary?

I've just gone into Settings...Language and Keyboard...Select Language and changed it from English (UK) to English (Ireland). This solved the problem! I then changed it back to UK and it is fine again. Strange.
