Help dictionary on xoom reader

I know I shouldn't expect that Xoom should have everything the IPad 2 has, although it is billed as the IPad 2 killer, but being able to look up words by tapping on them seems a pretty obvious addition that everyone seems to like. Am I missing something? Is there a way to do it? Any apps or other ideas I can look into?

Dictionary.com has a dictionary application. Are you talking about being able to tap a word in something you're reading and being able to directly look up the definition?

Yes, being able to tap the word in the text and get the definition.

I'm sorry, I don't know of anything that can do that. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, though.

You're talking about the Google Books app? I don't use that, I use the Nook app since it syncs with my Nook, but the Nook app can do what you're asking for. I suspect the Kindle one does as well.
