Did anyone else get a text from verizon?

Kinda curious... it said:
"Subject: - Stay tuned to you phone for a cool new offer from Verizon! Txt HELP for info.
888-575-1050"

I replied help to the number that sent the text, 5501, and to the number in the text and got no "info."

so has anyone else received a similar text from Verizon recently?

Yeah I got the same text last night. Its nothing, just them pushing their VZ Navigator app on us.

-__- That's annoying. I was hoping for something a little more... exciting. Like a notification for an available upgrade or something.

I actually got 2 of these last week. The first was just pushing their private event sale. The other was trying to get me to use VZ navigtor (not a chance). I too was hoping they would be letting us know of a pending update. I was disappointed.

i got the same email and Ive been bombed with emails trying to get me to have my friends switch to verizon and 2 emails about how much the appreciate me as a valued customer.

Yea I got both of them also. Both failed to download on their own network LOL

got the same text. Bummed to find out it was for the stupid vznav.
