Did I get a lemon?

I recently got my LG Motion. I am still getting used to ICS and the phones other features. I come from LG Otimus Elite on Virgin and I think this phone is definitely an improvement in many ways. However, there are few things that I find to be not satisfactory about this phone and I

I can say for the EvDO thing EvDO isn't everywhere in some cities/markets there's no EvDO anywhere ie Boston the only reason metro rolled out EvDO was so they could satisfy the android users until cheaper 4G phones came out
Call quality- I have excellent call quality so it might just be your area
There's some apps that haven't even been optimized for ICS
I don't know about the chrome or camera because i dont really use them

I too have noticed that the camera quality can be hit or miss sometimes. It helps to use the HDR image setting. I know there was a thread here talking about the camera.

cell phone cameras have very small apertures usually. because of this, any low light situations can introduce noise to the image. I think you'll find the image quality in a well lit situation more than adequate.

Try going back to metro and getting a new phone. I'm on my third one, though my problem was overheating. You have to go to a corporate store to do the exchange, fyi.

BTW, this last phone is working great. I have it rooted, just so I could freeze the bloatware with titanium.

I'm thinking the same thing. Hopefully, the next one will be better. I took some pictures with both my Optimus Elite and the Motion under the same lighting conditions and camera settings. The Elite produced really good pictures while the Motion's pictures were not even as good as an old cell phone camera.
