Help did u know this abt handcent

friends when i surfed for best text sging app most of ppl suggested hadcent but it dont have split view as well,i text to many contacts at a time but our inbuild messaging only allows us 2 add 20 reciptents at a time,
i tried handcent and added a group to send text message but a force close error appears and screen gets back to handcent,
please help.

You need to install the Handcent Group plug-in's:-

each plug-in allows another 100 texts per hour. There are, I believe, 10 such plug-in's, thus enabling you to send over 1,100 texts an hour.

i didnt ask how many i can send in an hour so i said i want to add more than 20 reciptents while sending coz i add more than 100 reciptents to send single text.

i tried wht u said and instaleed 6 to 8 plugins and changed the settings as well but still it wont help.

One simple question though... which carrier (service provider) are you with please?

Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with Aircel's group texting policy.

However, a number of carriers worldwide have a maximum number of receipients per text.

It may therefore be that Aircel is one of these carriers that imposes a 160 character text limit to, say, 10 receipients.

It may be wise to check with Aircel first.

From this posting it would seem that, as from the 1st March this year, Aircel has a daily limit on the number of texts:-

I am asking what your carrier's policy is on group/bulk text messaging as this may be forcing the close on Handcent if you are exceeding the limit and Handcent encounters this restriction and it force a close.

If on the other hand your carrier allows unlimited group/bulk SMS's then we would have to look elsewhere for the solution. As in the words of Sherlock Holmes...

yes it does provide bulk and group sms unlimited.
