Root Did ZTE fix the upside down camera yet?

Yeah, I just don't like people blaming our respected developers for something that is basically out of their control.

Its like slapping them in the face for all their hard work.
 
I don't think anyone was blaming Shin, but the issue is with the latest version of his rom because it is based on b07. It can't really be ZTE's fault anymore since they have fixed the problem in their latest release. So yes, the issue still lies in Awesome rom, not stock.

Not at all. If Shin based his ROM from B09, then I would agree with you, but because its based on crippled ZTE B07 software, then all the problems (minus a few Shin may have fixed) that ZTE has, Shins ROM will have as well.

As we don't have a B09 based ROM other than stock, I can't see how you can blame any of our developers for ZTE's **** ups. Because ANY ROM based on B07 is definitely going to be screwey and most definitely is a fault of ZTE, and not the developer that is working from horrendous stock base.

That's like saying a slightly modified vehicle that blew its engine after 1,000 miles is the owners fault that the engine blew, when clearly there was a defect from the manufacturer.
 
Nah, he was blaming the rom, since it is a problem with the rom because it hasn't been updated to the new software released by ZTE. We can keep going back and forth like this if you like.

Get back to the root, and blame lies with ZTE for not coding their ROM properly. Not with Shin's ROM.

And now I'm done. If you can't grasp that, amicable banter is no longer applicable.
 
Nah, the problem lies with the software not updated when the original software gets an update. ZTE has nothing to do with another dev not updating their software when it's based on an old version. They can't be held responsible when they have already fixed the problem. It's hard to grasp, I know, but try to keep up.

And this has nothing to do with Shin btw, I don't care if he updates or not.
 
Oh I'm keeping up, trust me.

Shin cannot update his ROM, because the B09 update is signed with ZTE's signature. Had you read Shins AA ROM thread, you would know this.

So please, stop. Get informed before you type. Its absolutely ZTE's fault for the upside down camera. Had they coded their software properly originally, we wouldn't be having this little "discussion", would we?
 
Like I said, I could care less if his rom is updated or not.

The point is, ZTE took care of their problem, the other is just running on old software.

Since I'm so embarrassed I will just leave it at that. Thanks for setting me straight, I really appreciate it.
 
It's all good man, we're just looking at it from different angles is all. I can see what you're saying as initially there was a problem with their software. But it also lies with the developers to update their software when there is an update to the original software... although I guess that's not possible in this situation. I really take no offense and don't mean to offend either.

Cool, cause I really was just trying to be witty. I reread it and saw that it might have come off a bit doosh. I definitely didn't want that.

It really isn't possible in this situation. This is also the same reason we don't have a customized B09 based ROM, and only fully stock ROMs.

I, too, can see your point of view. I just don't agree with it in this situation. But, opinions are like butt holes....

Thank you both for showing us how to "fix" those unwitting socially uncomfortable moments.

Everyone does it. No one's immune, we all get ourselves caught up in these "thing's" sooner or later.

This is how you get out, mutual willing respect.
