I was just told by someone that they had sent me several texts and also left me voicemails earlier today, none of which I had received until I tried a fix mentioned in this thread (option 1). Once I did that, I got all my voicemails and several texts from other people. I had that problem once before, but with voicemails only; this time it was coupled with texts. Bear in mind that I never call my voicemail inbox, I rely on visual voicemail which hadn't alerted me at all
My phone was in airplane mode when they called/texted. I was at work where I get bad signal, so I wanted to save battery. After work @ 5:00 I took the phone out of airplane mode and none of the text/voicemails had shown up at all. I did make a few calls just fine though. But I didn't get any texts until I performed the fix mentioned above @ 10:00
Anyone know if there's a way to prevent this from happening again? It's such a pain in the ass
