Diff state and prl

ok this might sound like a stupid question but do different state have a different prl # cause i rather put the one that corresponds to my state and not waste time with oone that won't work my main concern is that dam signal isssue

The PRL isn't for specific states. The latest one is 3025 which mostly everyone uses to get 3G or better data service. The signal all depends where you are, the one every phone comes with is the Cdma auto prl. you can always dial *#*#4646#*#*# and you can change it from there(cdma auto prl to cdma only.) Prl helps you get better data, the latest one helps with getting 3G and better data but im not totally sure if it involves the signal, I mostly have 3G and my signal is 4 bars, but when i go home i get 0 bars and 1x so i decide to put cdma only and i get the 3 bars and 1x.

Lte on/off app in the app market also lets you choose cdma only, also evdo only or whichever you want. I had to switch to cdma only because the 3g coverage in my area sux, and it only kills my batt. Back to subject, the different prl's are for metro coverage nationwide and not state specific, as i understand it. Also it doesnt matter if your area supports 3g yet or not as soon as they update your area your phone will atomatically switch.
