Help Difference between new EVO and launch day EVO?

Are there any significant differences between a brand new EVO and one purchased around launch day last year? I think I heard that the screen is made by someone else now... Does that positively or negatively affect how it looks? Do calls sound pretty much the same on a new EVO? Just wondering if there are any huge noticeable differences.

Nope.

There have always been two lcd manufacturers, Novatech and Epson.

Does that positively or negatively affect how it looks?

Depends. Some people like the Epson, some people, including myself, like the Nova. The Nova produces a "blue-er" white color, while the epson produces a warmer white tone.

Do calls sound pretty much the same on a new EVO?

Exactly the same.
